Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how SAVATECK, a California corporation (formerly PrimeFix Solution Corp), together with its subsidiaries and affiliates ("SAVATECK", "Company", "we", "our", or "us"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information about you when you access or use our website at savateck.com and our products, including Ruedio (a technology platform that connects customers with independent third-party service providers) and Ruedio Task (the provider-facing application used by those independent providers), together with all related applications, websites, features, and services (collectively, the "Services").
SAVATECK operates the Services as a neutral technology marketplace and venue. We do not perform automotive, repair, detailing, roadside, or other physical services ourselves; those services are performed by independent third-party providers who are not employees or agents of SAVATECK. This Policy describes our data practices only. The conduct of independent providers and customers is governed by our Terms of Service.
By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Services. This Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Scope & Who This Applies To
This Policy applies to "Customers" (users who request services through Ruedio), "Providers" (independent contractors who offer services through Ruedio Task), visitors to our website, and other individuals who interact with us. The Services are intended for users located in the United States, and the Services are designed to comply with U.S. federal law and the laws of the State of California.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Account & identity: name, email address, mobile phone number, password (for email sign-up), and authentication identifiers when you sign in with Google or Apple.
- Profile: profile photo, vehicle information (make, model, year, color, license plate), and, for Providers, business name, years of experience, services offered, pricing, and service cities.
- Booking & location: service address, the city/service area you select, geolocation when you enable it, scheduling, notes, and order history.
- Provider verification: identity and licensing documents, insurance documents, government-issued ID, selfies, business filings, and information used for background or eligibility checks.
- Communications: in-app chat messages between Customers and Providers, support requests, reviews and ratings, and your correspondence with us.
- Payment & payout: we use third-party payment processors (including Stripe) to process payments and provider payouts. Card numbers and bank details are collected and stored by those processors, not by us; we receive limited information such as the last four digits, card brand, payment status, and payout status.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Device & usage: IP address, device and browser type, operating system, app version, identifiers, pages and screens viewed, actions taken, and timestamps.
- Location: approximate location derived from IP, and, with your permission, precise device location used for matching, dispatch, and live tracking.
- Push notifications: if you enable notifications, we collect a device push token (via the Apple Push Notification service and our notification provider) to send booking, job, and account alerts. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
- Cookies & similar technologies: used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the Services, and measure performance.
2.3 Information from third parties
- Identity providers (Google, Apple) when you choose to sign in with them — typically your name, email, and a unique identifier.
- Payment processors (Stripe) regarding transaction and payout status.
- Communications providers (e.g., Twilio for SMS verification, email delivery vendors) regarding message delivery.
- Verification or background-check vendors, where applicable, regarding Provider eligibility.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Services and create and manage accounts.
- Match Customers with available Providers by service and city, dispatch requests, and enable live tracking and communication.
- Process payments, authorize and capture charges, calculate and remit Provider payouts, and handle refunds, holds, and chargebacks through our processors.
- Verify identity and eligibility, including Provider verification and fraud prevention.
- Send one-time passcodes (OTP) for sign-in and phone verification, and transactional notifications about your bookings.
- Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
- Monitor, analyze, and improve the Services, develop new features, and ensure quality and safety.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent, unauthorized, unsafe, or illegal activity, and enforce our Terms.
- Comply with legal obligations and exercise or defend legal claims.
4. How We Share Information
We share information only as described below:
- Between Customers and Providers: to facilitate a booking, we share the limited information necessary to complete the service — for example, the Customer's first name, service address, vehicle details, and a contact phone number with the assigned Provider, and the Provider's name and profile with the Customer. You acknowledge that once you participate in a booking, the other party may retain certain information you share with them, and SAVATECK does not control their use of it.
- Service providers & processors who perform functions on our behalf, including payment processing (Stripe), authentication and database hosting (Supabase), SMS and one-time-passcode delivery (Twilio), email delivery (e.g., Resend), cloud infrastructure and notifications (Google Cloud / Firebase), and analytics. These parties are authorized to use personal information only as necessary to provide services to us.
- Legal, safety, and protection: to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; to enforce our Terms; to protect the rights, property, safety, or security of SAVATECK, our users, or the public; and to detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or bankruptcy, information may be transferred as a business asset.
- With your consent or at your direction.
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended ("CCPA/CPRA").
5. SMS / Text Messaging
When you provide your mobile number, you consent to receive text messages from us or our messaging providers, including one-time passcodes and transactional messages about your account and bookings. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out of non-essential messages and HELP for help. Opting out of certain messages may prevent you from verifying your phone number or receiving important booking notifications. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.
6. Cookies & Analytics
We and our service providers use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to operate, secure, and improve the Services. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect functionality. We do not respond to "Do Not Track" signals at this time, but where required we honor recognized opt-out preference signals (such as Global Privacy Control) as a valid opt-out of "sale"/"sharing."
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, and thereafter as necessary to comply with legal, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, fraud-prevention, and record-keeping obligations, or to exercise or defend legal claims. When information is no longer required, we delete or de-identify it.
Account & Data Deletion. You can delete your account at any time directly in the app (open Profile → Delete Account). You may also request deletion by emailing support@savateck.com. When you delete your account, we deactivate it and remove your personal profile data. Certain records (such as completed transactions) may be retained only as required to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, after which they are deleted.
8. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, such as encryption in transit, access controls, and use of reputable processors. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
9. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights, subject to verification and legal exceptions:
- Right to know / access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
- Right to delete personal information we collected from you.
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" — we do not sell or share personal information, so no action is needed.
- Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information — we use sensitive personal information only for permitted business purposes such as providing the Services, security, and fraud prevention.
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.
How to exercise your rights: contact us using the details in Section 13. We will verify your request, typically by confirming information associated with your account. You may use an authorized agent acting on your behalf with proper authorization. California "Shine the Light" (Civil Code §1798.83): we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes.
10. Children's Privacy
The Services are intended for adults 18 years of age or older and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 (and never from children under 13 in violation of COPPA). If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us using Section 13.
11. Third-Party Services & Links
The Services rely on and may link to third-party services (including Stripe, Twilio, Google, and Apple) that have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third parties. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be indicated by updating the date and, where appropriate, by additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
